Presents well in a protective mylar cover. This is the limited first edition of The Nature of Desire, one of Duane Michals’ more intimate and concept-driven monographs. Printed in Tokyo on acid-free paper with sheetfed gravures, the production quality reflects Twelvetrees Press at its peak — thoughtful design, generous margins, museum-level printing.

Laid-in to the book is an original photographic print of Michals, credited to Tom Myers. Myers is very well-known within photography circles as a highly respected photographer and archival printmaker. The inclusion of a separately portrait adds a layer of presentation value beyond a standard monograph.
