Description

I made this portrait of Lucie Cline on October 27, 2016. What I love about it is how little seems to be happening and how much Lucie’s personality shines. She arrived in the leather jacket and T-shirt, with a cigarette tucked behind her ear, and I photographed her pretty much as she arrived.

Nearly ten years later, I returned to the original digital photograph and made this small edition myself at the synaesthesia press. Each print is produced individually by me using pigment inks on Canon Premium Matte paper, then titled, numbered, and signed by hand. The edition is limited to only five prints.
