Offering: An original Gelatin silver print by the photographer Ken Miller of the American author William T. Vollmann.

8″ by 10″. 20cm by 25cm. Near fine. Light creasing lower right corner. Signed and dated “1985” as an “AP” by Ken Miller in pencil and signed at a much later date by Vollmann at a book signing at Skylight books in Los Angeles.

Here’s a fun story. Fall semester 1996, I was a grad student at USF and living in the Tenderloin neighborhood in San Francisco — and reading Vollmann’s work. I connected with this guy through a mutual friend who was collecting Bukowski. I had a signed copy of “All The Assholes…” and he had a stack of photos by Ken Miller. Some of the photos in that stack had just appeared in Miller’s monograph Open All Night, which was published a couple years earlier.
