This copy of Tomorrow Will Be Better by Betty Smith is published in New York City by Harper & Brothers in 1948. It’s a special advance copy of the first edition. The book’s condition is good in like jacket. Some small chips / tease to the extremities of the dust jacket. Jacket has some foxing on back cover. Book is tight with a small bump to spine.
Signed by the author on a limitation page with printed announcement stating she is doing so in gratitude for the reception received from the Booksellers of America. Author’s second novel, recently reprinted to much praise and “forgotten novel that needs to be exhumed” (according to a recent NPR story).
